ALL WHO WANDER
TRAVEL ALBUM MIXED-TAPE CONCEPT

ALL WHO WANDER is a packaging concept for a set of two CDs featuring
various artists. The collection is meant to target those with a sense of adventure through earthy tones, imagery from my own experiences, and a fire playlist.

I was ten the first time I hopped on a plane.
I flew to Oregon with an assortment of family members for my cousin's wedding and I haven't lost my love for adventure since. Whether I'm flying across the ocean or taking a road trip, one thing remains constant: any kind of travel requires the right collection of music to make the experience more memorable. In the case of "All Who Wander," the playlist and design were inspired by my love for long car rides, my passion for mix-tapes, and location-specific songs from some of my favorite musical artists.

Travel has become such a luxury these days, people often tend to stick their headphones in and wait for the ride to be over instead of enjoying the journey, but I wanted this packaging to prompt a sense of nostalgia for the classic road trip. (Think struggling musicians traveling in a beat up van wherever to wherever they can find their next gig or the family of four on their way out west to see the Grand Canyon. Got it?) To achieve this particular sentiment, I incorporated grainy images reminiscent of classic film cameras and chose to design the physical packaging so it folds like a map. The geometric overlay helps to create smoother transitions between images as well as act as a creative metaphor for combining that nostalgia with modern design.
